The brief
The firm works in Czech, English and Russian, and some of its cases cross borders. The site had to show at one address what exactly the firm helps with, who stands behind it and how the whole thing starts — so that a person can read it in their own language and check it out before handing over their situation.
- Which areas of law the firm actually works in
- Who will handle the case, and what training and practice they have
- What the first step is and how soon anyone hears back
- That this is a registered law firm, not an intermediary
What we built
Three languages, each one complete
Czech, English and Russian. The four areas of law, the biography and the privacy policy are translated too, not just the home page. Each version has its own address, so a link can be sent in the client’s own language.
Why this way. A foreign client who runs into Czech on the site does not call. And it is their cases that cross borders, where a lawyer is needed most.

Czech version

Russian version
Four areas of law, each with its own page
Real estate and development, corporate and commercial law, inheritance and international law. Each one lists what the firm specifically helps with and has its own page with the detail.
Why this way. Nobody searches for “legal services”. People search for their own situation — transferring a flat, an inheritance, a dispute with a business partner. The page for an area is what can be found and what can be forwarded.

An enquiry that does not get lost
The form asks for a name, phone number, area of law and a short description of the situation. The message goes to the firm by e-mail. If mail happens to be down, the enquiry is still written down on the server so it can be traced.
Why this way. A lost enquiry at a law firm is a lost client, and nobody finds out — neither the sender nor the firm. Better to have it twice than once and unreliably.

Its own photograph on a phone
The opening photograph exists in two versions: wide for a computer, upright for a phone. The site picks one by screen width.
Why this way. A cropped wide photo ends at the ear on a phone. For a firm that sells trust, a portrait with the whole person in it is the difference between “someone” and “this person”.

A preview on a subdomain, not on the live site
Alongside the live domain runs a copy at prib.rozenfeld.cz, closed to search engines. The client reviews changes there, and only then do they go to jnpb.cz.
Why this way. You cannot try changes out on a law firm’s live website. Canonical links follow the environment, so two copies of the site never compete in search.
Our work in the client’s words
„I am very happy with the result. We finally have a modern, working website in several language versions. Mr Ilja did an excellent job, and I also appreciate his flexibility.“
The outcome
The firm has an address it hands a client instead of a business card. In three languages it is clear what it helps with, who will handle the case and how it starts. The registered details in the footer can be checked in the commercial register and in the roll of advocates.
- Three language versions, each complete including subpages
- Four areas of law, each on its own address
- Enquiries go out by e-mail and are stored if mail fails
- A preview copy on a subdomain, closed to search engines
- Web
- Next.js, React, TypeScript
- Languages
- Czech, English, Russian
- Enquiries
- Form, e-mail from the firm’s own server
- Hosting
- Client’s VPS, Docker, Caddy
When this makes sense for you too
The industry does not matter. The same approach fits anywhere at least two of these three sentences are true:
- Clients choose you on trust, not on the lowest price
- Some of your clients read a language other than Czech
- People need to be able to check who they are dealing with
